Nicholas Kirkwood Expands With Men’s Line

January 16, 2013 by The CoF

Nicholas Kirkwood exploded onto the women’s footwear scene in recent years with a distinct and cutting-edge aesthetic, anchored in the abstraction of geometry and its various applications. Yet the architectural elements in his designs aren’t as obvious as Pierre Hardy’s blocks, nor are his signatures as in-your-face as Christian Louboutin’sscarlet soles. What Kirkwood does is blend his shapes in a way that creates an instantly recognizable pump, most often so with bladed recessed platforms. It’s a formula that has been wildly successful in both retail and […]

January 16, 2013 by The CoF

Numero Tokyo : Tribe Editorial

January 16, 2013 by The CoF

Photographer Nino Munoz captured Garrn within these opulent outfits. Black and white lenses teased out the sheer dimension of the pieces which seemed to pop out in each shot. Where color was present, viewers got to take in […]

Turn Your Fingernails Into A Touchscreen Stylus With Nano Nails

January 16, 2013 by The CoF

It’s a fingernail…and a stylus. LAS VEGAS–Long nails and touch screens don’t get along very well. It can take some nimble finger acrobatics to get in touch with the display. Sri Vellanki of Tech Tips had already created an over-the-fingertip stylus. It was a natural step to then figure out how to integrate it into wearable fashion nails. Nano Nails takes pretty much the same tip design as the Tech Tips and places it under the index fingernail. They will be available […]
