Proenza Shouler’s designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are known for their natural, barely there makeup looks that they send their models down the runway. For one of the most expected beauty collaboration of 2014 announced since last fall, in collaboration with cosmetic giant MAC they created a limited-edition collection for spring 2014 that includes Ombre Face Powders, Lipsticks, Pro Longwear Eye Liners and Lip Pencils, Nail Lacquers, and a Powder Brush. As it was expected in this little preview you can see a lot of natural shades. As Style.com predicted the packaging is inspired by the brand’s spring 2010 “electric surf- and skater-inspired show”.

“Beauty has always played a huge role in what we do on the runway and MAC has been one of our biggest supporters,” said McCollough and Hernandez. ”We wanted to create something that the Proenza Schouler woman could relate to off the runway, and the MAC brand is so deeply rooted in fashion that we knew they would understand our vision.”

The collection will be available from April 2014 online and in selected stores.
