We live tough times… I don’t have to tell it it’s enough to open the TV to listen,to the radio or to read the news online… All the same… No matter it’s europe, america,asia or australia…. taxes that rise , the euro crisis ,politics in crisis,people without jobs,strikes in every country… These are the times we live.But there’s something nobody can’t take us the right to dream. The right to dream at a country that gave us so much and it has still  so much to give,Greece… The country of gods,the country of Democracy,the country of the first Olympic Games,the country of The Iliad and the Odyssey, the foundational texts of Western literature,the country of Socrates,Aristotel and Homer, the country of an unprecedented cultural boom, that of classical Greece, expressed in architecture, drama, science,mathematics and philosophy, the country of the heroic resistance at Thermopylae by Spartans… This is Greece. The country of 1,200 to 6,000 depending on the minimum size to take into account. A country that this days is trashed in the media for its economical and political situation but which doesn’t show the reality ,so don’t let this news to foolish you,Greece is still a country that has so much to give, where people despite of these difficult times we live try to find the joie de vivre. A country of great men. I’ll go back to Santorini,Mykonos and Paros  next summer  and maybe I’ll discover new places and make new friends because i choose to belive in people and not in statistics. And because we all are citizens of the world , a world without boundaries .A world were we have the power to choose.
