The Saint Laurent Boy is a Girl – Referencing the brand’s history of androgynous style, the spring 2013 menswear campaign from Saint Laurent Paris stars female model Saskia de Brauw. Creative Director Hedi Slimane photographs the Dutch beauty in spring’s slimly fitted jackets and pants.
In the Sun – Leading Danish model Gertrud Hegelund is tapped for the spring 2013 campaign from A. Brand. Future Elegance – For her eponymous label’s spring 2013 collection, British designer Sarah Baadarani was inspired by geometric shapes and the architecture of Indian temples. The result was an outing of contrast, juxtaposing sharp, asymmetrical shapes with ultra-feminine touches of Chantilly lace and sheer fabrics. Menswear influence can be seen in slim fit trousers and high-necked tops while an injection of liquid prints evokes a futuristic edge.
Topsy Turvy – Marc Jacobs starts off the new campaign season with this spring 2013 advertisement featuring Ruby-Jean Wilson. Juergen Teller captures the Australian beauty in a black and white striped dress from the latest collection.
A New Perspective – Dutch designer Peet Dullaert enlists photography duo Meinke Klein for his spring 2013 campaign, starring model Svea Kloosterhof. Medieval Tales – For spring 2013, Jitrois designer Jean-Claude Jitrois was inspired by the stained-glass windows and architecture of medieval churches. The influence can be seen in leather panels and bands, positioned to form geometric lines much like the artwork stained glass. Although inspired by centuries past, the season is thoroughly modern with couture shapes, crystal embellishments and the juxtaposition of leather and exotic furs.
Sporty Doll – Photographed by Willy Vanderperre, Marloes Horst is enlisted for the spring 2013 lookbook from SLVR by Adidas. The Dutch beauty dons sportswear ensembles with tropical prints and eastern-influenced shapes styled by Jay Massacret. Spring was inspired by martial arts, the film “Fight Club” and the human physique. A color palette of forest green, marmalade, neutral hues such as taupe and black and white show off the clean and sharp lines of the new season.
Remixed Season – High-end fashion line Designers Remix taps Nadja Bender for its spring 2013 campaign, lensed by Jens Langkjaer. The Silhouette of Spring – The spring 2013 collection from Berlin-based label Spon Diogofinds designers Mia Lisa Spon and Rui Andersen Rodrigues Diog once again exploring their trademark minimalism and impeccable construction. A color palette of subdued white, black and neutral hues places focuses on the silhouette which is androgynous in shape. Photographed by Nikolaj Møller, model Debbie Wallace dons the spring line with a calm ease in the lookbook images.
Hot Nights – Constance Jablonski gets clad in form-fitting silhouettes for the spring 2013 campaign from Brazilian label Animale. Photographed by Henrique Gendre, the French stunner takes to the African savanna in eclectic prints and sexy cut-outs styled by Luis Fiod.
