As part of the youngest generation of the tight-knit Italian clan (notably lensed by Juergen Teller), Margherita Missoni was a natural fit as unofficial muse and occasional face of her family’s eponymous brand. Having since added designer to her all-in-the family résumé, her part in Missoni’s charitable collaboration with Holt Renfrew in support of OrphanAid Africa was equally organic.

The Coveteur caught up with Missoni in Toronto just prior to her appearance at Holt’s. Missoni brought along not only signature pieces covered in her family brand’s iconic prints, but all kinds of editorial-worthy accessories—metallic Céline wedges and a pony-hair Givenchy Antigona, anyone? She also dished on her share of killer beauty secrets and traveling tips: “My beauty regime consists of drinking lots of herbal teas and water, lots of Esthederm sun protection with SPF, everything Aesop, and Mousse Éclat de Lancôme.”
