The Yohan Blake Tourbillion RM 59-01 Watch by Richard Mille
As worn by sportsmen like Rafael Nadal and Sébastien Loeb, the Richard Mille house continues to develop its technical know-how by welcoming the Yohan Blake to its RM family of designs. Designed in collaboration with the Jamaican sprinter and road-tested by the athlete himself in July 2012, the new watch has certainly been infused with some of the magic of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
With just 50 set for release, the Tourbillon RM 59-01 Yohan Blake, which was presented at the 22nd Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, keeps the classic lines of a Richard Mille watch with its barrel-shaped face, but is now also available in green, red or gold in a nod to the Jamaican flag. A genuine competitor made from high-performance metals and designed with manual skeleton movement, this watch also comes with a stylized signature design which evokes the athlete’s nickname ‘The Beast‘.
