By now there is someone out there that doesn’t know Andrej Pejic?! At a twiggy 5 feet, 11 inches tall, the hipless, chestless Pejic is a fashion designer’s dream. The versatile model has hit the runway in both men’s and women’s fashion shows.
Pejic is no stranger to controversy. His mother is Serbian, and his father is a Croat, which placed his parents on opposite sides of the Bosnian war in the 1990s. A few months after his birth, fighting caused his family to flee to Melbourne, Australia. He was discovered at 17 while working at McDonald’s, the BBC reports.
His first major editorial spread was for Vogue Paris. This visibility led to work for Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs and, quite astonishingly, a lingerie campaign for the Dutch retailer HEMA.

Concerning that this is the standard and a skinny, chestless young man fits it perfectly! Disturbing how our society has evolved! Marilyn Monroe at a size 14 or 16 and curves would have no place on today’s fashion magazines!
Actually, Marilyn was more like a size 4. She was 5’5.5″ with a 22-inch waist. Her chest looked so big because her waist was small.

I don`t know how to react really, it is kind of weird to see a guy dressed as a woman on the runway, he sure has a beautiful face, but to model as a female??? I`m confused.

Andrej Pejic also says that to maintain his figure he doesn’t eat a lot. Good to see a model actually go on record with a statement like that.
