Co-founder of Missoni fashion company, famous for zigzag-patterned knitwear, dies ‘serenely’ at home in Sumirago, Italy at aged 92.
He was discharged on May 1st from the hospital Circolo in Varese, where he had been hospitalized for a heart failure, to return to his villa in Sumirago, in the province of Varese and where is also the home of the fashion house he founded. He was immediately resigned because he wanted to return home but his condition remained complicated. In recent days, as it was learned, was very cut down to his condition but there were no signs of an imminent end. So much so that yesterday he had wanted to see on television a tennis match. His condition deteriorated overnight.
