To work on the cover of the third issue of CR Fashion Book Carine Roitfeld invited an interesting trio Kim Kardashian, Riccardo Tisci and Karl Lagerfeld. Even though K.K gave birth to a daughter this year in June in the magazine she appears still pregnant.The cover was created in Lagerfeld’s Paris studio in May, on the eve of the ball amfAR gala in Cannes.

Riccardo Tisci was the art director, and Karl Lagerfeld, the photographer, to create the cover and story of the third issue as it is called by Carine Roitfeld, “precious moment pregnancy of Kim, whom people have not seen.”

Roitfeld distancing her journal from yellow periodicals that constantly monitors the daily life of Kim Kardashian. “This is not a gossip magazine, which after a while goes to the trash” – says the chief editor of CR Fashion Book. – “It’s a collector’s item.”

For the new 340-page issue CR Fashion Book there are also stories by Hedi Slimane, who shot portraits of young artists and directed by Gus Van Sant and Bruce Weber, depicting Emily Ratajkowski.
