The day after the finals of the U.S. Open Tennis , the chairman of the fund Novak Djokovic Foundation Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic held his annual fundraising dinner in New York. A charity evening and a live auction aimed at maintaining pre-school programs in Serbia,the homeland of Novak Djokovic.

Previous events , arranged last year in New York and in July this year in London helped to raise a total of more than 3.2 million dollars for children from low-income families in Serbia .

Novak Djokovic and his girlfriend Jelena Ristic,who is also the director of the Djokovic Foundation, “which enables children from disadvantaged communities to grow up, play and develop in creative and safe settings, is an integral part of her life and she spends her time actively working with children to help them to develop their skills” ,greeted the guests . To support the charitable mission of the evening gathered Donna Karan , Anna Wintour ,Karolina Kurkova, Naomi Campbell , Jessica Hart and many others.
