Karl Lagerfeld photographed 20-page survey and the cover for October issue of L’Officiel Paris. Heroes of the stories the cast members from the film “Opium,” including Farida Khelfa, Audrey Marnay, Marisa Berenson and Arielle Dombasle the musical scenario by Jean Cocteau,set in Paris in the Twenties.
Creative director of the small-budget film Vincent Darre , who was tapped earlier this year to be “curator” of L’Officiel said : “Karl loves the period and knows a lot about it. It was the beginning of Cubism, the Russian ballets and so forth” . Darré worked with Lagerfeld for 10 years at Fendi. The movie will be released on Oct. 2 in France.
” The October issue is the last one with Daphné Hézard as editor in chief. Hézard recently left to join Harper’s Bazaar France as fashion and lifestyle editor. The French version of the magazine is expected to launch between March and June. ” – wwd
