Incredibly soft and luxurious cashmere scarves featuring artworks created by children at the Maranatha School and Orphanage in Haiti.
100% of the net proceeds will go towards building a sustainable community and secure future for the children of Maranatha.
The “I am Haiti” art scarves project is proudly supported by Nomad Two Worlds, Caroline and Frank Fleischer (Franca Art and Fashion) and the TMS Group.
After the tragic 2010 Haitian earthquake, the “I am Haiti” scarves project was born. Documentary filmmaker Kevin O’Hanlon (FilmsOnArtists), artist Richard Laurent and the Life for the World team gave 100 children in Marantha the opportunity to create their first paintings. They painted what they wanted to see in their futures – things many of us take for granted, like having a home, trees, clothes, and basic transportation.
Inspired by these artworks, Caroline and Frank Fleischer (Franca Art and Fashion) and the TMS Group decided to create a range of luxury scarves which could be sold around the world and raise ongoing funds for the children’s education and development.
Wrap yourself in a meaningful work of art and help the children of Maranatha turn their dreams into a reality. – nomadtwoworlds.com/collections/i-am-haiti-art-scarves
