That Roberto Cavalli has a rough tongue and never chose his expressions it ‘s no secret anymore. Especially when it comes to his colleagues ,the designers . After trashing Karl Lagerfeld “Just because you are an artist you don’t have to dress like that. Karl Lagerfeld, he looks ridiculous.” his new whipping boy became Michael Kors ,the American designer that this year became a billionaire , but Cavalli believes that he is successful because of his Italian mastermind :”He’s one of the biggest copy designers in the world,” Cavalli told Style.com  “I just want to tell him to stop copying me! Stop! All the time I write those comments on Instagram. He copies everybody!””Americans like Michael Kors! And you love so many other designers who do that – he’s not American fashion. He is international fashion made in America. It’s not fair. The American women, they all dress the same.” “Before I [launched] Just Cavalli, I started to see how many people around me were copying me,” he expains. “There was Cavalli style all over, and I said, ‘Why am I giving so many opportunities to other people? Maybe I should just start to copy myself.’ So I started Just Cavalli to copy myself.”

Well done Mr Cavalli!

  1. Wow, Cavalli sounds not only like a paranoid but an egotist beyond control. So everyone is copying him? All American women dress the same? He sounds like a dick! That’s an American expression Roberto. It means you’re a deluded asshole.

  4. I thought I was the only one who thought Kors’ “designs” are derivative! And, I’m not even a fashion professional! Over the past season, the line began copying itself — they brought back that boring metal studded bag from the mid-nineties and the price point is still just as ridiculous!
