Purple,and all its shades, is the color for this spring 2014 makeup

The makeup trend for last spring and summer was marked by blue and turquoise, and this year we can see an explosion of lilac and pink in all their shades. No wonder the color of the year is a purple shade according to Pantone.

The first to set the domination pink-purple trend  was Dior with their Dior Trianon Collection . The new ad campaign in support of the spring/summer 2014 makeup collection is made entirely in shades of the spring’s first flowers.

Then shades of pink, purple, lilac, fuchsia,lavender appeared in the range of most major brands, including Chanel, Givenchy, Guerlain, Clarins, YSL, etc.
