Affordable designers wedding gowns? Yes! Thanks to the latest collaboration of American designer Zac Posen with the affordable yet fashionable retailer David’s Bridal. The collection named Truly Zac Posen will land in stores and online on Thursday, February 6.
The collection created under the iconic glamorous signature of Zac Posen includes seven fit-and-flare bridal gowns made from satin or lace with beautiful details and embellishments. To complete the collection ten elegant evening dresses that can make you feel like a real star.
The Truly Zac Posen label will make its debut in 50 of David’s Bridal’s 307 stores and online in February. The retail chain plans to roll out the collection to 100 stores by the end of this year, according to Catalina Maddox, executive vice president of merchandising.
“I am so honoured to partner with David’s Bridal on the Truly Zac Posen line as we have jointly created love notes to brides everywhere,” says Posen. “Each design in this collection depicts a romantic femininity with silhouettes that embrace and enhance every woman’s body while celebrating life’s exceptional moments.”
“Many brides feel that if they have a low budget, they can’t afford anything that is fashion-forward, creative or, most importantly, high-quality,” says New York bridal stylist Jackie Avrumson. “So bringing a runway name (like Posen) to an accessible market allows all brides to feel like they can achieve a dream look.”

The best selling point of this partnership is the collection itself. The designs are rooted in modern American glamour; the Zac Posen signature anatomical silhouette is present within both the bridal and the social occasion collections; and the red-carpet heritage of the house is rendered in the hourglass silhouettes. The Bridal collection is offered in an array of sizes that go from 0 to 26, while the social occasion dresses that range from a size 0 to a size 14.” the designer said in an interview for The Telegraph.
