Millions of dollars of jewelry adorned the stars that hit the red carpet at the 2014 Oscars last night.
Among our favorites was the Best Supporting Actress, Lupita Nyong’o in a Prada dress with a gold and diamond headband and a gold and rose-cut diamond spiked earrings. Vintage rings and a gold and diamond snake bracelet, all from Fred Leighton adorned the hands of the winning beauty.
Cate Blanchett in her embellished Armani Prive gown dared to wear giant opal drops set in white gold from Chopard. Naomi Watts opted for Bulgari to add an elegant touch of luxury to her white Calvin Klein gown : a spiderweb-like diamond necklace and a clutch both from the iconic italian brand. Jennifer Lawrence brought glow to her red Dior dress with a 100 carats Neil Lane necklace that cost $2 million and a 10-card diamond studs and diamond-and-platinum ring. Sandra Bullock‘s Lorraine Schwartz platinum and diamond earrings ( $1.8 million) that made her shine even if she didn’t have an Oscar in her hands this year.
