To celebrate the opening of its new flagship boutique , scheduled for May 1 , Italian fashion house Fendi has decided to organize a charity project in collaboration with renowned British women like the artist Tracey Emin, actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Naomie Harris, models Cara Delevingne, Jerry Hall and her daughter Georgia May Jagger , architect Zaha Hadid, singer Adele, fashionable illustrator Tanya Ling and journalist Kate Adie.
Each of them has come up with her design handbags Peekaboo working closely with Silvia Venturini Fendi and the Fendi atelier Personalized products will be exhibited at the brand new boutique , located on New Bond Street . They can be purchased at the online auction , which will take place on www.fendi.com/peekaboo-auction. from 1 to 30 May . All proceeds will be sent to the charity Kids Company, which helps children.
“Growing up in a family of strong and pioneering females, I am excited that such iconic women, leaders in their own fields, have been involved in this project, on this iconic Fendi bag,” says Silvia Venturini Fendi, head of leather goods and granddaughter of the brand’s founders, Edoardo and Adele Fendi. “This project will not only allow Fendi to work with these incredible women, but also to raise valuable funds for Kids Company and help support their important work.”
