Grace Coddington , the irreplaceable creative director of American Vogue, is famous for her ability to dress models and celebrities for the famous photo spreads that appear in the iconic fashion magazine . And it turns out that the reverse it’s not worse.

Coddington has prepared a collection of 35 nude images of the most famous fashion photographers, united under the name ‘No Clothes’ , for online auction site Paddle8. It includes drawings, for example, one of the most famous is the nude by Matisse, but also images of models and celebrities (including shots of Madonna and Drew Barrymore) by Bruce Weber , Ellen von Unwerth , Mario Testino , Peter Lindbergh, and among them, here there are pictures of the Grace herself.

“Every picture starts off naked,” Coddington explains. “The model is naked, the hair is undone, the set is naked, and this is the starting point of the creative process.”

On paddle8.com you can admire and auction the images selected by the famous fashion editor until May 16, 2014.
