Diane Von Furstenberg
Diane von Furstenberg just celebrated 40 years in the fashion industry, 40 years since she introduced the wrap dress on fashion’s timeline, a style still so loved today as in the 70’s. And because the 68-years old designer, also president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America since 2006, is unstoppable she is throwing herself in the trendy world of reality shows.
Diane von Furstenberg teamed up with E! entertainment channel for “The DVF Project” a show that “will document Diane’s search to find a new Global Brand Ambassador where young hopefuls vie for a chance to be a part of the iconic designer’s empire, giving us all an inside peek into the fast-paced fashion industry and what it takes to succeed” according to E! . The new reality show is expected to hit the screens at the end of this year .

“Diane von Furstenberg is one of fashion’s most innovative designers and a true icon who inspires women to seize opportunities,” said Jeff Olde, E!’s EVP of programming and development. “There is a magical, somewhat ‘Willy Wonka’ aspect to the world Diane wants to create with this show. That is if Willy Wonka were a fabulous, glamorous fashion icon willing to share her secrets with talented young women dedicated to learning them.”
