Anjelica Huston is selling some of her most iconic dresses in collaboration with the famous luxury vintage store Decades Los Angeles.
Zac Posen, Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors … When 62-years-old Oscar winner actress Anjelica Huston began to enumerate the long list of designers that fill her wardrobe , no one could explain why the talented actress want to get rid of such iconic pieces like the one she wore in 1986 to collect her Oscar for the Prizzi’s Honor , or to some memorable events where she went with Jack Nicholson , who was her partner until 1989.
“I just moved this year from the house I lived in in Venice with my husband [the late artist Robert Graham], and I had accumulated a vast amount of stuff,” Huston explained. “My gowns in particular I kept in a cedar closet downstairs and I felt it was time to get them out there and allow them to have another life. Some of them are so great it seems wrong to keep them under wraps forever.”
But lucky us . Anjelica Huston will sell over 150 gowns in collaboration with the Los Angeles vintage store Decades , with prices starting from $ 140 to 2800. For the moment you can buy one of the 32 gowns with sizes from 8 to 14, US size.
“I first met Anjelica at my house for a dinner in honour of Alber Elbaz many years ago,” Decades owner Cameron Silver told WWD. “I’ve always been a fan of hers as an actress and a fashion icon. When she was ready to clean her enviable closets, we had a blast going through four decades of red-carpet moments.”
