Schiaparelli’s Zodiac jacket sold for £ 110,000

It was in 1938 when Elsa Schiaparelli, also inspired by her uncle Giovanni Schiaparelli – astronomer and director of the Observatory of Brera – built the collection Astrology. From the collection stood out a dark blue jacket, covered with embroidery made by Maison Lesage. Masterpieces depicting galaxy of shooting stars, planets and zodiac signs. And today the cult piece, called the Zodiac jacket, was auctioned by Kerry Taylor Auctions for £ 110,000.
