Schiaparelli’s Zodiac jacket sold for £ 110,000

It was in 1938 when Elsa Schiaparelli, also inspired by her uncle Giovanni Schiaparelli – astronomer and director of the Observatory of Brera – built the collection Astrology. From the collection stood out a dark blue jacket, covered with embroidery made ​​by Maison Lesage. Masterpieces depicting galaxy of shooting stars, planets and zodiac signs. And today the cult piece, called the Zodiac jacket, was auctioned by Kerry Taylor Auctions for £ 110,000.
