Not all the outfits of the guests at MET Ball 2014 became a fashionable triumph. There were even those who would give up going to the event , in order not to fall in the ratings of the most badly dressed people. But here are those who better choose to stay home this time. They didn’t just failed to please fashion experts with their appearance, some of them just failed from head to toe .

First on our list is American bombshell, Kate Upton. The star of the movie “The Other Woman ” ,the model turned actress looked like a Sicilian widow in a dress from Dolce & Gabbana. Bad cut, ugly cleavage, terrible headdress and some really jewelry. All her outfit was screaming : FAILED .

Rita Ora is fighting for the title of the worst dressed with Kate Upton. The British singer seems to have decided for the second year in a row to come to the ball in accordance with the punk dress code which was required last year at the event . The golden- white dress by Donna Karan Atelier with tulle and a high slit taking as back to Madonna’s ‘Like a Virgin’ times. Casadei’s shoes with lace-up on thigh and some tape on of her arms finally ” killed ” image.

Actress Lena Dunham on-screen and in life exploits the image of a gawky girl, far from the glamour and elegance that such an event expect . Unfortunately, even for the Costume Institute Ball she made no exception. The Giambattista Valli dress clearly is not appropriate for her figure , highlighting all the imperfections.

Katie Holmes is in full compliance with the dress code by appearing on the red carpet in rich saffron coloured dress. The Marchesa gown would all be good, though not the amorphous wrinkling around the neckline, waist and thighs areas . And her hair style was a big NO.
