Not so easy to turn a seemingly simple Christmas sweater in a luxury item . Nevertheless, British designers coped well with the task. The international organization Save The Children for the charity auction of the annual Christmas Jumper Day involved 12 British brands like Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, Anya Hindmarch, David Koma, Paul Smith, Giles Deacon, House of Holland, Jonathan Saunders, Matthew Williamson, Peter Pilotto, Mary Katrantzou and Sibling designed jumpers, which have each been hand-knitted by Wool and the Gang , that will be auctioned via SMS on December 13.
The collection will be exhibited at The Village of Westfield, London, from 28 November to 30 December 2013.
