Classics revisited at Alexis Mabille

“This is the classic Parisian look, but with a new, broken-down element. It perfectly sums up the trends of the season in which traditional norms continue to be torn apart. Here, we have opted for a cool palette with a touch of shimmer under the eyes to balance out the red lips. The eyelids are highlighted with a shine which gleams under the lights.”

Streaks of light at Kenzo

“Here again we see the glossy look, a real star of the coming season. A thin line of highlighter is drawn straight down the T-zone to attract light to the centre of the face and contrast the heavy black eyeliner. This three dimensional look is complimented by perfectly powdered skin.”

Glossy shine at Haider Ackermann

“Using streaks of gloss to create points of light was the order of the day at Haider Ackermann, adding an extra dimension to the face, without covering it under layers of make-up. Slicked over the eyelashes and the parts of the face that catch the light, this gloss gives an almost transparent look to the face, which is especially noticeable on the catwalk.”

Racing stripes at Giambattista Valli

“These iridescent racing stripes, drawn on the temples, give the look an aerodynamic lift. The gloss elegantly scatters the light that hits them, rendering this strong look a typical representation of the trends of the season.”
