    Cate Blanchett’s Top Bondage harness photos. I would add a bottom rigging as well for safety reasons. I would use a different technique and not have over the shoulder ropes. I guess the bottom rig was too erotic for a main-stream star, but you can choke rather quickly if it slips and that rigging restricts blood flow and puts pressure on internal organs. The counterbalance of the bottom rigging takes weight off the top rigging. Remember to have a scissors nearby to cut through all the rope if your model passes out, or has a sudden onset of claustrophobia. Bondage safety 101.

      there are cinches in the tie which prevent such an risk. I don’t know who did the rope work, but it’s obvious that none of the risks mentioned by druidwinter are actually possible; it’s a pity the need to show off on the web is often stronger than the rope-bondage knowledge…
