This summer, the online store Net-A-Porter will present a capsule collection created by photographer Mario Testino,a native of Peru, and VOGUE Paris . He dedicated this line to the traditional costumes of his native country, for the sake of which last year, he founded a non-profit organization MATE, which is working on the promotion of local culture, artists and writers, and held an exhibition in Lima Alta Moda with his own photos of local residents.
The collection Marion Testino for Net-A-Porter will include coats, scarves, handbags and clutches, decorated with traditional prints from Peru, as well as jewelry by designer Vicki Beamon with an eye on the local art crafts. In addition, there can also be bought an album of photographs by Mario Testino in a series of Alta Moda. 20% of the profits from the sale of these products will go to MATE.
